Here is the progression of the corn we planted. We planted one batch with dead fish to fertilize the soil like the Indians did. In our experiment the corn planted with the fish, on the right, did not grow as well as the corn planted without. The corn planted with the fish grew up some, but then started dying and did not grow as well. We did eventually get two very small pieces of corn from the corn planted without fish before the plant fell over and we ended the project. The kids had a great time and now really want to plant their own garden outside to get more corn and other veggies.
