Unfortunately most of our family got sick Christmas Eve, so that changed our Christmas plans of spending it with extended family. We ended up staying in town and at home trying to recover from whatever bug we had caught. Thankfully I did not get it and still have not. The rest of the family is still recovering. We opened gifts on Christmas morning instead of the usual Christmas Eve or the evening of Christmas as planned. The kids had a nice time despite being sick, but we sure missed the rest of our family. The kids big gift was the lego city that we set up and the kids have all played with non stop since Christmas. We ended the day with reading the Christmas story to the kids before bed.
