Catching Up

Well, the last few months have been busy!  Here are some pictures to play catch up:
In late September Super Daddy and Monkey Boy ran their first 5K race.  Super Daddy is training to run a 10K next and hopefully eventually a half-marathon.

My Aunt and Grandma came to visit us and we had a whole family get-together at our house.

We were very excited to be able to go back to our favorite place to see the fall colors on the aspen trees.  We had not been since a big wildfire destroyed some of the area and road.  We had a really nice time hiking among the trees and would have stayed longer if it hadn't been getting dark.

Little Bear celebrated his seventh birthday in the beginning of October.

Fun family outing to the area that Super Daddy likes to boulder with the older kids.

Fort building is one of our kids favorite activities.  Most days there is at least one fort built and often the entire living room is full of forts.

The four girls dressing up and pretending to be living like Laura in Little House On The Prairie.  I love seeing the girls dressed in the dresses my mom made for my sister and I.

Monkey Boy and Baby Lovebird enjoying a snuggle.  The two of them have a special bond and are often found snuggling together.

A corn-free dairy-free processed-foods free (except for the onions) Thanksgiving.  It was challenging to make the dressing and green bean casserole all completely from scratch, but worth it.

Enjoying Thanksgiving dinner together as a family.

Going for the traditional Thanksgiving after-dinner before-dessert walk.

I love seeing Little Ladybug in this dress.  It just makes me think of my sister wearing this dress as a little girl.  She already looks so much like my sister and her daughters (and even has my nieces' mannerisms).  It makes me miss my nieces and sister even more, but I also love being reminded of them constantly by Little Ladybug.  Despite the cold, being that this picture was taken in December, she wears this dress almost every day that she can get away with it.  She also runs around barefoot and hates wearing socks.

Fun picture I took of the kids on 12/12/12 at 12:12 pm (notice the clock is included in the picture) just to show them where they were during the last time they would see all of the dates the same again.
