It has been a little over one month since we went on our nature walk and took some pinecones home to look at. The kids broke them apart, discovered the seeds in them, and wanted to plant them. We planted several seeds in each cup and finally one sprouted up a few days ago. The kids were so excited to see something that they had discovered and plated start to grow.
