Christmas Eve

Our family usually opens gifts on Christmas Eve and then spends the day of Christmas together as a family, rather then spending the day opening and playing with gifts. We had a wonderful turkey dinner with all of our immediate family. It was a lot of fun and really loud with seven very excited kids!

Picture of us all eating dinner.
Picture of the aunts reading the cousins a story right after dinner while we were cleaning up before gift opening.
The tree and gifts with some excited kids.
Daddy with our monkeys.

My brother, his wife, and their son. Their son is only 11 days older than our Monkey #4. He had a lot of fun celebrating his first Christmas.
My brother-in-law and one of his daughters.
Monkey #2 hugging one of his new stuffed elephants.
Monkey #3 with a new tractor.
Monkey #1 with her new doll and Grandpa and cousin in background.
Monkey #4 enjoying her first Christmas. She was very happy most of the night despite being up way past her bedtime. I was surprised at how well she did for how late it got.
And this is a picture of Grandma finding out that she will soon have eight grandchildren. That is right, I am pregnant with Monkey #5 due sometime this summer! :)
