For school we made hasty pudding for breakfast. The kids loved it and asked for it for the next morning's breakfast.

I must ask, what exactly is "hasty pudding?" It sounds like it must be pretty tasty. :)
Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you! It has been a busy month and I have not really been checking my blog or updating it. Hasty pudding is basically just cornmeal and milk cooked together with a little salt and butter and then we served it with milk and syrup. It was not bad. It was to go along with the song Yankee Doodle that we had been learning.
