I know that it has been a while since I have posted. We have all been very busy with church, Bible studies, and trying to get our garden started and other projects around the house. My sweet hubby has very nicely built me 12 raised beds for a garden. I have wanted a big garden for a while now and we are finally able to do it this year. I have 6 4x4 boxes and 6 8x4 boxes. One of them just has flowers planted in it. I also have one for herbs, one for potatoes, one for strawberries, and I have blackberry and blueberry bushes planted. I have tomatoes, peppers, and some other stuff started indoors that I will be transplanting soon. In the boxes I have onions, garlic, peas, carrots, lettuce, and spinach already coming up. Now that it is warming up I will be transplanting and also planting corn, beans, watermelon, cantaloupe, pumpkin, okra, summer squash, and probably a few other things I am forgetting. I am very excited! I remember planning out very elaborate gardens when I was a little girl and pouring over seed catalogs and now I am finally able to plant my own garden! Thank you hubby! I will post more pictures later, but also wanted to post some new pictures of what else has been going on for the past few months since I posted last.
