It sure has been a while since I have posted anything. We have been keeping busy with buying a house and moving out of our rental house and into our own home! We are very happy to be in our own home again finally and feel that the Lord blessed us with the perfect house for our family. It is a four bedroom home on a little over an acre that is next to state trust land. We have gorgeous views, a large porch across the back of the house, and a large basement for the kids to play in. It was a foreclosed house, so we got it for a really good deal, but this also means that there are a bunch of projects to do to get it fixed up. Here are some pictures of the house for those that have not been able to visit since we moved. These were all taken in the first few weeks after we moved, so please ignore the boxes and mess and bare walls and ugly blinds. We now have new curtains on all of the windows, art on the walls, and most of the boxes put away, except for what we stashed in the garage :). Someday I will try to take updated pictures of the rooms to show you.
Front of house
Taking a break from unpacking to play. We sure are enjoying having carpet (rather than all tile) in our house for the kids to roughhouse and get horsey rides from dad!
Looking our living room windows to street in front of house.
More living room views.
Girls room, which we have now decorated, put up curtains, and rearranged furniture.
Dining room looking out toward porch and back yard views.
Kitchen with window to the living room. I love the rooster light fixture that came with the house and I plan to paint it red to match the rest of our kitchen decor.
Porch. We have really been enjoying eating out here when the weather is not too hot or windy.
More views from the porch. The shed down below hidden a little behind the trees is what we converted into a chicken coop.
More views from porch.
Another view of part of our backyard.
Front yard views. On a clear day we can see the San Francisco peaks in the distance.
Front door and front yard.
Another view of the kitchen.
Another view of kitchen and dining room.
